heheh…I remember playing Street Fighter 2 with my brother on the computer..
Second round job postings start today. I. Need. Job. *sigh*
The other day somebody asked me how old I was and I said “18″…It took me a while before I realized I’m not 18…Anyways..
So I was talking to Noella after dinner a few nights ago..We talked about pride and strugles with it. This term in particular, I feel the pressure of competition among classmates for jobs, for marks. It must have been there before, it’s just I never noticed..or maybe I didn’t care about it before. Anyways, she basically said that to cope with pride, we must continually pray to God that he would humble us…that He would shape and mold our characters.
“That’s what we signed up for anyways…”
“Hmm? When did I sign for change?”
“When you decided to follow Jesus…you signed up for transformation…for change.”
Oh, wise Noella. I’m glad to have my housemates that I have this term (although it would’ve been cool to live with Alison =P).
