Door bells and sleigh bells and schnitzel with noodles

Snow-flakes that stay on my nose and eye-lashes,
Silver white win-ters that melt into spring,

When the dog bites,

When the fire alarm goes off at 3:30am on the day of my physics midterm, it makes me sad,
I simply remember my favorite things,
And then I don’t feel, so bad.

If God is truly more than enough, why do so many people turn to other things for satisfaction? Like drinking, sex, porn… If God is more than enough, then why do girls and guys still long for that “special someone” to sweep them off their feet? Why is it that we still feel incomplete?
Is it because we don’t let God take His rightful place in our lives? Is it because we haven’t fully realized the power of His sacrifice and how much he loves us? HOW do you fully realize something like that?
It’s hard to believe this term is “half over”…Everyday just goes by so quickly, but the minutes are so slow. Somehow, it feels like life passes me by and I am just trying to keep up.
