I think I’ve been asked that quite a few times. Today these middle-aged womenI was waiting with at the bus stop asked me. The other time, it was Patrick from Timothy’s.
Maybe it’s because I’m naturally pretty dark. Or because I don’t have the typical Chinese (small) eyes.
Anyways, I wouldn’t mind being Pilipino.
Haha, I get asked questions like that too!
For me it’s actually because I’m a mix between Mauritian and Chinese so it’s normal that I’m darker…

I’ve gotten so dark this past month that I look Filipino too now! I’s usually sort of dark as well.. but right now it’s rather dark that my grandma comments whenever she sees me.
