R & R

So it’s a relief to finish exams and come out of hibernation. This post is a sorta “response” to Clara’s blog on Things.

Here it goes.

Things I did over the exam period:

√ Discovered the microwaves at ES (hallelujah - now I can study at DP/TC and not have to walk all the way to SLC to heat up my food)
√ Studied at DC, SLC, DP, TC
√ Listened to Mae’s “Skyline Drive” song at least 50 times
√ Watched Marié Digby’s music videos and attempted to play “Umbrella” and “Just like a Star” on guitar
√ Studied at TC for 15 hours (Well, I basically stayed there for 15 hours straight - I wanted to kill myself)
√ Had Sunday worship at home with Vicky (We had a full “service” with praise songs, sermon, prayer…churches were closed last Sunday cuz of the snow)
√ Bought a Chicken Cesar Pita from Pita Factory
√ Ate “out” only 2 other times! (Yes, I’m very cost-efficient)
√ Bought bubble tea from Sweet Dreams (hot strawberry almond milk tea…mmm)

Things I would like to do over the holidays (or SHOULD do):

√ Bake cookies and try a new dessert recipe
√ Meet up with highschool friends
√ Buy winter boots
√ Watch a movie in theatres with my FREE movie ticket (thanks Clarah)
√ Update my resume (I always wait til I have to apply for jobs and then freak out cuz it’s not in good shape)
√ Ask people if they have a Biol 373 text that I can borrow
√ Read Chris’ Bio 373 notes if I feel like being a keener (don’t worry, I probably won’t)
√ Hang out with family and friends and Gordon
√ Eat, sleep and be merry
√ Volunteer at YSM
√ Hang out with Dorinda
√ Go to Jaffray’s winter retreat
√ Relax

So there it goes. My life is so exciting:P
