So last night was the first session (of 9) for recreational volleyball.  I decided that after being sedentary for most of the summer, I really need some sort of physical activity.  And since it’s getting cold, I won’t be able to bike around for much longer..  I could’ve joined a gym, but I don’t much like working out - I prefer to do some kind of sport for fun.  I chose volleyball cuz well, it’s probably my favourite sport=P

Anyways, I didn’t know anyone there, but I had a lot of fun!  Most of the players are pretty old…(well, older than me).  Average age is around 40 years I think.  Although it may not be a big deal, it took a bit of courage for me to step out and play with strangers.  It felt really good though:)  Not only cuz I got sweaty and got the winning spike (YAH!), but because I did something I like, without fear of what others think of me.
