All the oceans and the seas know the sound
Of Your beautiful voice
And if You tell them to be calm and be still
They have no other choice
You put the stars in the sky and then You taught them to shine
They know just what to do
Every morning’s a symphony that’s perfectly timed
Thanks to beautiful You
Beautiful You
I can’t imagine life without You
Beautiful You
I can’t imagine being alone
Beautiful You
The only thing I ever wanna do
Beautiful You
Is have You hold me in Your arms
Beautiful You
All the waterfalls know just where to fall
Brilliant every time
When it rains, you are behind it all
With gentle rhythm and rhyme
Mountains high know Your voice
And they are ready to move where You tell them to
With all my heart, I believe that I can do the same
Thanks to beautiful You
Every ocean, every sea
Every morning’s a symphony
Every drop of rain, every waterfall
All the stars in the sky are so beautiful
Every breath I breathe, every beat of my heart
I feel so alive ‘cause of who You are
Every day I rise, every time I sing
I’m reminded of Your great love for me
You’re beautiful, so beautiful
Beautiful You
I just want to be around You
Beautiful You
I can’t imagine life without You
Beautiful You
There is nothing that I can’t do
Beautiful You
When I build my life around You
Beautiful You
Closing time – open all the doors and let you out into the world.
Closing time – turn all of the lights on over every boy and every girl.
Closing time – one last call for alcohol, so finish your whiskey or beer.
Closing time – you don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home…
Closing time – time for you to go out to the places you will be from.
Closing time – this room won’t be open ’til your brothers or you sisters come.
So gather up your jackets, and move it to the exits – I hope you have found a friend. Closing time – every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.
Yeah, I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home…
Closing time – time for you to go back to the places you will be from…
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
I know who I want to take me home.
Take me home…
Closing time – every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end..
Sheldon: Yes, well, I am polymerized tree sap and you’re an inorganic adhesive. So whatever verbal projectile you launch in my direction is reflected off of me, returns in its original trajectory and adheres to you.
Today I walked across a stage with an oversized gown and bowed in front of some fellow who put this blue sash over me.
Convocation marks the end of another chapter in my story… Although many people choose to skip out on this event, I think it holds special meaning. It’s a time to reflect, to look back on where I’ve been and where I am now. I feel very very blessed to have made it this far. I realize that I couldn’t have done it without the prayer and support of family and friends. I also remember that Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows (James 1:17).

For those who don’t know, I’m interning this summer with Toronto City Mission, an inner city organization that works with youths and their families to “achieve positive change by living among the families of our city’s poor communities, and partnering with others”. In particular, I’m helping plan and execute the summer arts camp at the Malvern location. It’s been quite the experience so far…In the beginning I felt so out of place because the other interns are pretty talented in music/arts stuff. I felt un-gifted when I compared myself to them. But yeah, I’m learning that we all are uniquely gifted and it’s not good to compare and measure our worth that way! I love the way my team is gelling together… I think we have the best group:)

So seeing as how Apple came up with its new lineup, I think I’m going to go PRO. I’m so excited.
So yesterday night I had a discussion with my brother on laptops. I’ve been looking forward to upgrading my Acer to something lighter, faster and well, better for a while now… The 4 (Going on 5) year-old Acer I’m using is still functional but not very portable, is a bit loud (the darn fan), and is not very “pretty”. I have to admit, I’ve been eyeing the new 13″ Macbook…its sleek unibody design, aluminum case…it’s the perfect size, is pretty light and just so much fun to use. As well, Apple’s the back-to-school promotion means I would get a FREE iTouch with it! I asked my brother if he had any alternatives to the Macbook and he said (paraphrased) “It’s like (for no other better analogy), comparing apples and oranges. You can’t compare the two.”
Chris spent a good hour on Saturday at the Apple store showing me all the neat things that you can do on a Macbook and I was pretty sold. However I know that it’s not a cheap deal, and there are many less costly alternatives that have the same specs. I don’t need anything too too fancy…I mostly do word processing, internet…might need to run a few stats software.
So…I’m polling my readers to ask what they think. Should I go with the Macbook? It feels like I’m following the crowd and the “trend”. Do you have a good ORANGE alternative?
